PZ water polo players in county action

The Cornwall Water Polo teams recently attended the Inter County Water Polo Champonships at Millfield School along with Devon, Gloucestershire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset.

It was the first time that Cornwall have fielded 5 teams at this event and there were some good results. Cornwall entered 12 & under and 14 & under mixed, 16 and 18 & under Male and a Ladies side.

It was very strong competition and despite not having a regular Cornwall league due to lack of teams in the County, they took away some fine wins.

Congratulations to all the players who showed total commitment and displayed some great goals and defensive play.  Cornwall consisted of 33 players from Penzance, 11 from St Austell and 2 from Saltash.
