County Champs Weekend 1

WEEKEND 1 ROUNDUP FROM MATT (HEAD COACH)

Congratulations to both Amy Mullins and Kezia Elliott with respectable distance swims in the 800m Freestyle, at the start of the 2019 Cornwall Counties.  Amy was just off her PB, although has learnt more about her own strengths with which is only achievable with practice. Kezia swam a brilliant race holding perfect 50m split times to go beyond her PB until unfortunately her goggles and hat blew off towards the last 200m (clearly swimming fast!) which gave a slower overall time and a huge round of applause from the spectators at the end. I have every bit of confidence that Amy and Kezia will do incredibly well in future distance events. Well done girls.
